Synthetic ice in sheets to be hydrated

How to use synthetic ice sheets.

Soak the inactivated sheets in plain water for a couple of hours (the cells must be nice and swollen.

Place the activated sheets in the freezer to freeze for at least 48 hours (where they can remain forever until ready to use).

Important! The cells must be stored horizontally, even on top of each other (plastic to plastic, or plastic to fabric, but not fabric to fabric, to prevent them from sticking together).

After which the cells are ready to be used.

For your shipments, we recommend using polystyrene containers at least 2.5 cm thick and filling any gaps with crumpled plastic or polystyrene chips.

The ice is reusable and certified for use in the temperature-controlled shipping of perishable foods. It's a valid alternative to refrigerated trucks. The product is flexible and can be cut to fit individual compartments.
